Privacy notice

Last updated October 2026

Habitué Design House ("we") is responsible for the personal information you share through this website. This notice explains what we collect, why, and what you can ask us to do with it. It is written to meet the Data Protection Act, 2019 of Kenya.

What we collect

  • The answers you give in our forms: your name, WhatsApp number, email address, and details about your unit.
  • Anything you send us directly by WhatsApp, email or phone.

Why we collect it

  • To reply to you and discuss your project.
  • To send you the catalogue you asked for.
  • To prepare a quote or design proposal if you go ahead.

We do not sell your information and we do not use it for anything unrelated to your enquiry.

How it is shared

Our forms open a WhatsApp message for you to send. WhatsApp is operated by Meta and handles that message under its own terms. The same answers are also emailed to our inbox through Web3Forms (web3forms.com), a form-delivery service that passes them on to us. We share your details with contractors or suppliers only when you have hired us and the work needs it.

How long we keep it

For as long as we are discussing or delivering your project, and afterwards for the period we need to keep records for legal and tax reasons. If you only enquired, we delete your details when you ask us to, or after a reasonable period without contact.

Your rights

You can ask to see the information we hold about you, correct it, or have it deleted. You can also object to how we use it. Write to[email protected] and we will respond promptly. You also have the right to complain to the Office of the Data Protection Commissioner.
